All authors publishing their papers with Science Excel are entitled to the following rights and obligations:

  • Copyright and Publishing Rights: Authors retain full copyright and self-archiving rights but transfer publishing rights to Science Excel.
  • Pre-prints and Working Papers: Science Excel does not publish material previously mounted online as pre-prints or working papers.
  • Seminar Papers: Authors can submit seminar papers for publication if they include a note about the seminar and if the paper has not been published online.
  • Archiving: Published research and review papers may be archived in private or public repositories, either online or offline. Authors should use the final published versions available from Science Excel’s website for such purposes.
  • Open Access Repositories: Authors may archive their articles as "post-prints" (the peer-reviewed version incorporating editorial changes). Proper citation of the original publication is required.
  • Acknowledgment: When using the published work in alternative formats such as ePub or audio, authors must acknowledge the original reference to the published article.
  • Creative Commons License: Science Excel articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 4.0 International License, promoting ethical reuse of content.
  • Sharing: Authors can freely link to their published papers and share them online or offline in their final published format.
  • Indexing and Storage: Authors may index and store their papers in private or public archives such as university databases, ResearchGate, or Academia.edu.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Science Excel promotes the sharing of scholarly knowledge with due credit to the authors and researchers of published papers.
